Update: Here's the actual figure as of 5 December 2018, based on the 1:64 Tomicas alone. This excludes Playsets.
As a businessman and toy collector, I often get asked this question: how much is your net worth in toys?
To begin with, I don't believe being a businessman follows the fact that I can just buy any toy I want. My late father, Wong Chu King, was a very frugal man. It was one of the many values he taught us. He came from humble beginnings so he made sure even if we had a family business growing up, it never got to our heads. He made us earn everything.
One thing he said that I never forgot is: "never spend beyond your means."
This is what probably brought me to being the sporadic toy collector that I am. Even though I can't really stop my urge when it comes to spending on toys, I still don't buy these things in a whim. A leader class figure that costs Php 2,999.00 needs 3-4 trips before I decide!
Now this post will most likely be done in installments as I've only finished counting all my Tomica 1:64 cars and nothing else.
My basis of value is (of course) my acquisition cost. I'll start counting the playsets next in order to add to this value. This value does not include a box of exclusive car box sets that somehow got lost in transit when I transferred my collections to another location.
As of November 2018, the total value of my Tomica 1:64 cars under my possession is only worth Php 40,535 or roughly US$ 768.75 in today's exchange rate (approx. Php ~52.00).
One thing though, I believe it is definitely pale in comparison to other
diecast collectors whose collections are most definitely priceless.

Knock-off Toy Reviews migration
Hey all! I've decided to transfer my knock-off toys in this blogosphere, which is my alternate toy blog. I heard that KO toys get a little bit of flak so I decided to insulate my original blog from any issues that may arise from reviewing knock-off toys.

Mech Fans Toys MFT Megotroun Review
Hi and welcome to my Mech Fans Toys Megotroun review! This completes my oversized KO triumvirate of Decepticon leaders including Galvontron and Overlordnb. This guy is a direct copy of a third party Transformers version of DX9 X13 War in Pocket Mightron.
Sick (Googled) artwork!

The rear box art shows a little preview of the accessories included in the package. But not until you open it that you will see...
MEGOTROUN!!![/caption]
The mighty, mini MEGOTROUN! This guy stands at about 6 inches tall. I was super excited to take him out of the box 'cause I really knew this would be an excellent figure!
NOTE: this figure DOES NOT have any Decepticon decals whatsoever. Again, I went ahead and placed a Decepticon decal kit I bought online for around $3.00.
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="532"]
Side view[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_835" align="aligncenter" width="532"]
Classic Megotroun kibble[/caption]
The detailing on this guy is surprisingly excellent. He is a good miniature representation of Megatron in all his G1 glory. Again, we have to give the credit to DX9 since they were the ones who did the blueprint on this figure. Most of the time, these things started out from prototypes and leakages happened somewhere along the way...
Enough about that!
Let's go to articulation: he has a good amount of joints that give him excellent poseability! The only down side is his big shoulders/biceps get in the way of upward arm bends and that's just it.
[caption id="attachment_845" align="aligncenter" width="532"]
So, will you buy me?![/caption]
As for his accessories, let's take a look. I'll start with replacing the face plate which just sits on a simple peg that easily pops off.
Here's the new face with the energy sword accessory! The energy sword has two pieces composed of the handle and the energy 'blade'.
Now we have Megotroun's infamous pistol used to kill prime (which is actually Blitzwing's gun!!!). You can also attach the blade from the energy sword.
[caption id="attachment_849" align="aligncenter" width="800"]
The infamous 'gun of betrayal'[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_850" align="aligncenter" width="800"]
Fiiiire![/caption]
I guess Megotroun's pretty happy with all the accessories he comes with. YOU CAN, TOO!
[caption id="attachment_851" align="aligncenter" width="800"]
with the energon mace![/caption]
[caption id="attachment_853" align="aligncenter" width="800"]
Energon mace has a chain that is movable.[/caption]
Now we have the mind control helmet. See the little hole on the left? That's a peg for the mic. Unfortunately, I lost the mic which was supposed to be inside the zip bags of the instruction booklet... Or I never had it. I'll never know :(
[caption id="attachment_854" align="aligncenter" width="532"]
Nice detailing[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_855" align="aligncenter" width="800"]
Megotroun still likes it, though[/caption]
It's the same helmet Megatron used to control the Prime clone in the episode, 'A Prime Problem'.
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Image from TFWiki[/caption]
Now we have the Key to Vector Sigma that he unfortunately can't hold. The key has a nice paint and detail to it!
[caption id="attachment_857" align="aligncenter" width="800"]
He holds the key to Vector Sigma![/caption]
Then lastly, we can combine the silencer and stock that can turn into a stand and cannon plus attaching his arm cannon for a...
Super cannon?
[caption id="attachment_858" align="aligncenter" width="800"]
Super cannon![/caption]
[caption id="attachment_859" align="aligncenter" width="532"]
Destroooy![/caption]
Let's move on to the...
Alt mode[/caption]
Check out more details of the alt mode sans the accessories:
[gallery ids="837,838,839,840,841,842"]
[caption id="attachment_843" align="aligncenter" width="800"]
Here it is with the silencer and stock attached[/caption]
Over all, the pistol alt mode is a super nice rendition. Albeit small, it has a nice grip on your hand. Just don't look for a spring action on the trigger as it just has a friction joint. So it's just a 'pew!' instead of 'pew! pew! pew!'
It's also very sturdy. Nothing falls off, the panels align almost perfectly. It's very crisp!
TORSO PROBLEM![/caption]
This is pretty much a friction-based attachment but sadly, there's nothing that holds the torso down firmly. But other than that, it's a great, great figure that is a total must-have for any Megatron collection!
Again, should you get it? HELL YES!!!
[caption id="attachment_861" align="aligncenter" width="532"]
Adios![/caption]
As some of you probably noticed, I'm currently experimenting with the photos a little bit with the hopes of giving a more efficient loading experience. As mentioned in my previous posts, I got this guy for a good bargain!
- Name: Megotroun (Megatron)

ALT MODE (Pistol)
His alt mode is complex but ends up easy once you get the hand of it. If you have the MP-5 Megatron, there's a tinge of similarity to the transformation principle although this is far easier. [caption id="attachment_836" align="aligncenter" width="800"]

CONCLUSION
To cap off this Mech Fans Toys Megotroun review, should you get it?! HELL, YES! Suffice to say, DX9 did a hell of a job to make a cool miniature Megatron. The only gripe I (and most collectors that own this fig) have about this figure is this: [caption id="attachment_860" align="aligncenter" width="800"]

Mech Fans Toys MFT MF-07 Galvontron Review
Good day y'all and welcome to my Mech Fans Toys MF-07 Galvontron review! This figure is another oversized knock-off (similar to Overlordnb) of a third-party figure DX-9 X05 Tyrant.
Mech Fans Toys have started to gain a good following for making KOs of DX9's complete line. It's quite unfortunate for DX9, so to speak, since outsourcing production often undergoes these kinds of, err, *quote* intellectual property *unquote* leakages.
Anyway, since I'm sure you guys pretty much know what I meant, let's start off to see if this figure is worth buying!
Front packaging features nice (Google'd) artwork[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_802" align="aligncenter" width="598"]
The back shows both bot and alt modes[/caption]
The box quality is pretty good. It measures roughly 8.6 inches high and 6.5 inches wide. I wonder if anybody has checked the Japanese text on this box if it actually made sense or it's just a bunch of mumbo jumbo someone put there for the heck of it. Hmm.
Good deal for its price tag? YES.[/caption]
The mighty Galvontron! (Decal applied)[/caption]
Off the bat, I can already see that the figure is of nice build and material quality. It almost looks like an official product save for a few unnoticeable sprue marks. The headsculpt really looks like a menace. The paint apps are SUPERIOR.
NOTE: this figure DOES NOT have any Decepticon decals whatsoever. Again, I went ahead and placed a Decepticon decal kit I bought online for around $3.00.
[caption id="attachment_811" align="aligncenter" width="598"]
A bit skinny but it looks like everybody's like that at this angle...[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_810" align="aligncenter" width="598"]
Hollow waist? Wasn't expecting much. So it's cool.[/caption]
As you can see, he has a fair amount of detail around his body which makes the Galvatron experience fun. Let me just tell you know that what you see and NOT what you can move are the figure's main strong points.
Articulation-wise, Galvontron has a good amount of joints. It's practically the same as his DX9 version.
[caption id="attachment_806" align="alignright" width="297"]
You call those shoulder joints?![/caption]
There's only one major glaring issue that makes him unable to pose with his cannon on top of his arm.
Check out those shoulder joints on the right photo. I'm sure you guys can imagine the limited mobility it gives the figure.
The photo below shoes you the only way to pose him with the cannon above the arm. Other than that, you have to Blu-Tack your way to it or do it the ToySoapBox method (he just balanced the cannon above - fairly easy to do).
[gallery ids="808,809,804"]
Also, I just can't find the picture right now but I've seen some people file MFT Galvatron's inner ankle "shields" to give him more mobility in that area.
[caption id="attachment_816" align="alignleft" width="300"]
You could cut and file away those inner ankle shields..[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_815" align="aligncenter" width="300"]
He has good ankle joints hampered by those "shields"[/caption]
BBBSSSSHHHWWWWWW!!![/caption]
Let me start by saying that the alt mode looks totally weird. It kind of looks like he is doing push ups with his elbows with his legs curled up. They obviously didn't care about this mode since you appreciated Galvatron, err, GALVONTRON in all his mighty bot glory than in this mode.
[caption id="attachment_818" align="aligncenter" width="900"]
Good, yeah?[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_819" align="aligncenter" width="900"]
See what I meant earlier?[/caption]
Transforming him was pretty easy and you could do it in 9 steps. The only thing you probably won't notice at first (if you don't look instructions) is you can pull his torso downward and it goes on from there.
[caption id="attachment_820" align="aligncenter" width="900"]
"Destroy those Autobots!"[/caption]
Moving on...

CONCLUSION
As for my final thoughts on my MFT Galvontron review... For his price, it's already a decent buy. The build quality, materials and paint apps are incredibly superior. Save for those shoulder joints, this would've been a super amazing figure - not minding his weird-looking alt mode. Should you get it? YES! Do you want a figure to experiment with? YES, get him! Do you want to try your weathering paint skills? Get him! Do yo want to panel line him? Go get him! I really love this figure despite its one major flaw.

Hello and welcome back dear readers! I have a ton of stuff lined up in the upcoming weeks and to kick it off, let's start with my NBF Overlordnb review!
First off, there's not much known about NB Factory Toys other than it's a China-based toy manufacturer that makes KO of third party toys. This model, in particular, is an oversized knock-off of the Iron Factory IF-EX11 Evillord (12cm tall).
The packaging is a pretty straightforward box and has a dual-layered blister packaging inside. What's neat about this is the box art but it was obviously taken from the IDW Overlord version which this figure and the one it copied (IF-EX11) was based off of.
It's just really weird that they basically gave up on thinking of a name for this figure and just slapped in their company initials in the end then voila - OVERLORDNB!!! Try saying that out loud!
The figure stands at 15cm or roughly 6 inches tall. It's size is just right above Legends class figures but below Deluxe class ones. So it doesn't really fit in any scale except the same pocket-sized figures of similar brands like Mech Fans Toys.
At first, I wasn't expecting much in the build and material quality of the figure but I was surprised upon unboxing. The plastic feels very good - not as good as official releases - but heck-a good! It also has some heaviness to it that gives you the feeling that it's not just any goofy knockoff.
NOTE: this figure DOES NOT have any Decepticon decals whatsoever. I just went ahead and placed a Decepticon decal kit I bought online for around $3.00.

He isn't a slack when viewed from any angle. There's some heft to the figure and right off you can see the amount of detail placed into him. Well, the kudos should to to Iron Factory for all the bells and whistles we see on here but I guess we gotta give NBF some sort of credit as well for not sacrificing details.
You can also remove his backpack so you can place it on his left arm later on.
As for articulation, there's an abundance of ball joints but don't expect a wrist and waist swivel. Check out the bottom area later for some action poses.
To start getting into his megajet and gigatank AND base mode alt modes, you have to pull off his legs. Again, I had no expectations coming into this figure so I might as well tell those who don't know yet that this is a PARTSFORMING figure.

In my opinion, the jet looks amazing. It's just frustrating that the arms don't tab to anything making this whole mode unstable, especially if you're unfortunate like me for getting one with a loose arm joint.
Transformation is straightforward and the only weird part here are the leg pegs that you can't hide and act as rear landing gear. YEAH RIGHT. Hehehe!

So from robot mode, you have to remove his shin guards in front and the turbines at the back. You won't need the shin guards for the tank mode and get the rifle ready instead.

The tank is well, err, cute. There are no wheels to get it rolling and the turret doesn't turn. Also, be careful with those fins at the top of the turret because they can easily pop off and you might lose them.
Here they are together...

And now we move on to the...
weirdestmost pathetic base mode I've seen so far especially its transformation method.

So did you see it? First off, they didn't even bother to hide the head. Well I guess logic dictates that unless you're displaying it back-first then that wouldn't be a problem, would it?
Basically, base mode is just parking a bunch of parts together to make it look like a base. It's pathetic because it feels like they really just had to do it even if they didn't want to.
In the above photo, for instance, you just put the decks on top of small gaps while the cherry here is just taking the tank/legs apart and just putting them to the side without any sort of locking mechanism AT ALL.
SO again, let me just accept it and move on. Hehehe!
By the way, you noticed how the "jet head" is pegged to Overlordnb's back? You could actually remove it and give him the iconic Overlord look.
The "jet head" is on some sort of hook peg that you could easily remove. Swivel it to see the hook. Then just take off the fin from his left arm to reveal a peg hole. Notice that the "jet head" has a half-peg that slots perfectly into his left arm then...
Overlordnb is happy! (Alternate head applied).

So should you get him? Probably.
That's it for my NBF Overlordnb review!

CONCLUSION
To cap this off, there were really no expectations when I bought this figure. It's good to have, but not a must-have, so to speak. Personally, I really like the figure solely for its bot mode. It's very playable and you could actually start a collection with like-sized figs I'll be reviewing later on (although in TF lore, Overlordnb should actually be the Shaquille O'Neal of Transformers).
